*****Iowa vs Ohio St Game Thread*****

ONLY even slight chance for the Hawks to run the table the rest of the way would require something that KF won't do.

But CM will remain QB1, so no, Iowa has no chance to run the table for its last 7 games.

Yeah, the only thing that matters is whether Sullivan is better than Cade. It has nothing to do with him being a savior.
I would vote for Sullivan because he is more of a dual threat. But KF HATES it when QBs use their legs. KF has actually signed a few DT quarterbacks ... the only one he ever used was Banks, and all he learned from that was too NEVER AGAIN let a pure athlete operate his (punt-first) offense.

Anyone else remember the game here where it was 56-7 at half - our TD was only because of a blown call by the ref - and it ended 56-35? I love Columbus.
that is the most humiliating game i know of outside of a beating from psu in 94. kf was a breath of fresh air after games like that

Well my prediction before the game was 38-10 and it looks like it was pretty accurate. Iowa played a respectable half, albeit because OSU shot themselves in the foot. I don’t expect Iowa to win these type of games but we should be able to expect to be able to score some points outside of garbage time and be more competitive for 4 quarters

Thanks KF.

I LOVE going into a game where the fanbase's upper expectations are to just (hopefully!) keep the final score kinda close and not suffer any injuries to the best players.

And then when KF's unwillingness to actually play to win leads to the unsurprising blowout the fans just shrug it off and hope for a decent warm-weather bowl in late December/beginning of January.

Really makes a person want to rush out and throw money at SWARM and whatnot.

Well I missed it, as I had to work. Sounds like I didn't miss much. Last thing I said on here last night was we have to be aggressive and score some points early. We obviously did not score, but were we at least aggressive and not doing the same crap over and over? Were we moving the ball at all or did our offense once again let down our defense and let them hang out to dry??
