With the exception of Michigan, Iowa has been absolutely brutal on the road this year. Could be a very rough evening for the Hawks.
Brock should only play backup minutes but Seydou may actually be a worse defender.Stick Seydou on Thornton and hide Harding.
Harding showed what he can do last year in the 10 minutes he averaged, this year Fran has put a stop sign on how creative he could be in handing out assists, this year Fran doesn't want him to not turn the ball over, which means don't be flashy. If Brock would get a bit more Steve Nash to his game and dribble through the lane rather than getting stuck in the lane, he would be a lot more effective.
Hawks, Cats, and Huskies are the only BIG teams without road wins.line hasn't moved all day
not many think the hawks can pull the upset on the road
Iowa would defiantly not win with Brock on the bench and they will probably lose even if he starts. Lack of bench, players that play inconsistent basketball and no defense and rebounding will always cause Iowa to fall short. If they lose tonight it won't be because Brock started in this game, he only averages 25 minutes, the same as Thelwell.....Yep. Only way Iowa can win is if Brock doesn't play the majority of PG minutes. But since it's Fran we know he's not going to change anything and it will ultimately cost him his job.
I hope your hunch is correct. We can use a lil excitement.I’m never optimistic with this year’s Iowa team.
Especially on the road. Against a tourney team (currently).
But for some reason I think Iowa wins this.
Lame, wonky Monday night game.
Iowa isn’t a team to rowdy up the home team’s crowd.
I just have a feeling Iowa catches the Buckeyes, their crowd, & the city of Columbus sleeping tonight for some reason.

Need to watch Bruce Thornton (17/game) and Devin Royal (7.3 rebs/game). 40 of those are offensive rebs.Somebody's already drunk.
Seriously though, with no D or rebounding, Hawks are gonna have to be blistering hot from distance all night long.
Your point guard being the worst defender on the team has a compounding detrimental effect, but I admire your devotion to Brock. Relative? For those on here that are upset that Fran thinks 6 foot Brock is a starting point guard instead of Thelwell, think about this, is everyone ok with Payton chucking up 12 threes and hitting on two during a game, how about Dembele double dribbling or throwing up an air ball and playing no defense, how about Theore not grabing a rebound or missing a dunk, every player makes mistakes but Brock seems to be this years whipping boy along with Mulvey or Brauns or Tadjo, or Dembele, it doesn't matter Frans team always lose over 10 games a year and never competes in the NCAA tournament. Get a life people, Iowa has more issues then just Brock, he's the least problem Iowa has....
The quad city folk jerk it to their own. Now sure why they cant admit that Brock is a net negative on this team. He would be an avg mid major playerYour point guard being the worst defender on the team has a compounding detrimental effect, but I admire your devotion to Brock. Relative?
Heads up is understandable with your hands in your pocketsjust a heads up.....you will see my hands in my pockets.
Why?
Nash was 6ft3inIf Brock would get a bit more Steve Nash to his game and dribble through the lane rather than getting stuck in the lane, he would be a lot more effective.
