Well, at least the game isn’t over at half time. That’s an improvement over the last 3 road games.
26 points in a half. We are at Lickliter levels of offense.
Payton and Dix are 1-12 shooting including 0-7 from 3.

Fran stays competitive at a Big Ten away game, good recruiting recently. I think he’s good for two or three more years.

WTF has happened to Dix? He's been pretty cold lately, or at least sure seems that way.
Typical of this team missing wide open 3's by their supposed shooters, Will OF ever learn to hedge correctly and not be out of position defensively. Thelwell and their shooting struggles only thing keeping Iowa in game. The good news Dembele is still consistent, and Fran saved his timeouts for the ride home.
Yet another game where Payton is a Bricklayer---he's missed shots he's wide open on and not even that close.

Freeman and Thelwell carrying the teams. Traore should play more. Diebler should play that Croatian more---he's too tall for Freeman, can block his shot flat footed.
Defense has been okay. Not too much small ball.
I would expect a heavy dose of Freeman in the 2nd half. OSU weak inside on D.

Thelwell shooting well in the 1st half and PS shooting bricks. Would be nice if PS would realize that and give it up occasionally instead of being such a ****ing ball hog.
I was gonna say the same. Owen needs to be fed the ball in the paint as often as possible.

I was being sarcastic, but every single announcer of every single Iowa game says time and again that Fran coaches that. "Just keep shooting".

Hawkeyes just have low basketball IQ when it comes to timely shot selection. Especially Payton. Freeman doesn't need to shoot three's.
