only guy on the squad that a NCAA sweet16 team would covet. Rest of the cast is journeymen/offensive specialist.
He fouled a guy on a fast break layup…. Good foul actually because the guy had an easy two but is a poor free throw shooter, so Patrick hacked him and he missed at least one of the two free throws, possibly both, I can’t specifically recall
It took watching him play once for me to realize that he was going to be talked about for years to come by Hawk fans.
If the effort is contagious, Who has the contaigion spread to? I see Freeman as only guy that blocks shots and rebounds. Dix plays pretty good D on his own. Harding tries hard. Krikke and PMAC don't seem to have caught the bug.
Freeman is good he could use some coaching up on the defensive side but that will come with time and he’s a pretty solid defender as it is.

Perhaps, but that one guy is pretty good. We’re not making the NCAAs this year but Freeman is the kind of player you can build a final four team around in the next 3 years.

He can stall the offense all by himself. It's a motion offense his dad coaches. Maybe he could get a clue if he got on the clue bus.
Perkins usually brings the effort and energy. Him and Freeman are our best players and high energy guys.
Who would have imagined that high energy translates to good things. EFFORT and DEFENSE travel! Shooting can come and go.
I’d argue that the rest of the team played better defense than they normally do. PMac even had a steal. We held them to 32, I think that’s better than our defensive average this year and I think we held Wisconsin below their offensive average. Small steps.

I’d go a step further, and this makes me throw up in my mouth but I’d say he’s a young version of Christian Laettner. I’m going to go throw up now for saying that name. Guy was a great player, total douche.
I definitely get the comparison, but prefer Street.
Perkins steals it with great effort, but then he has to weakly turn it back over because all his teammates ran away from him instead of coming back to help him out, and Krikke picks up his 3rd in the process.
