******Kansas vs Iowa Game Thread******

Kansas comes in 4-0 after beating a bunch of low level teams. Should be a pro Iowa crowd.

Massey sats 79-68, they were close on the drake game. Brief scouting looked like they love the 3 ball, so might see some zone? They posts looked ok, but I don't know how they match up inside, physicality might favor iowa but speed might be kansas?

It seems the women & men both are playing a little better D this early in the season. This women’s team gets better every game. KU has a solid program, in fact just signed Libby Fandel out of Iowa but I think we’ll blow them out.

If/when McCabe gets her shot online, they’ll be potent. Also the freshmen will keep improving!

KU has quite a bit of size, with that said I don’t anticipate them out “speeding” us. Olsen, Feurbach, Afolter, etc are terrific athletes.

I guess I don't understand your McCabe reference. She's 11-20 from 3 or 55%. What were your expectations for her shot?

More shots, more playing time, less turnovers, better defense, more court awareness.

Same issues as last year. Yes her 3 ball is fine, needs more of them and to do that she needs to improve the other things

Thanks for the greetings brother and I mean that. I have found my mental health is much better when I avoid things like Twitter and message boards, but I have to confess you women’s basketball guys I have missed.

I’m probably getting a tick ahead of myself here, but it’s a tragedy, this team isn’t ranked. They’re a top 15 team. That Virginia Tech team we beat is a solid team. Drake also is a solid team and although we aren’t as dynamic yet offensively. We move the ball well and we play light years better defense.

And for you guys that are hard on Hannah Stuelke, I want you to keep something in mind. She is a high twitch athlete and has Uber-bounce. One day when she smooths everything out, she’s going to be a super high ceiling player.

She’ll play in the WNBA!

And these fresh will only get better as will Afolter, the further away from the injury she gets.

I’d like to see McCabe take another step in her overall game
