He keeps plays alive longer, so it makes you feel like there's more of a chance of something happening.....Petras has done the same shit.
Padilla has done well for getting no playing time most of the season. Again, he’s not a great option, but he’s clearly better than Petras. The Iowa offense actually has somewhat of a pulse when he’s in the game.
Boom.Alright now that we got time, I wanna point out that 1st down TFL.
I have noticed that more and more teams are cheating guys on the backside to not only take away the cut back in pursuit, but to be in position to play the PA as well.
If Iowa shows a strong side and it smells like a zone run, teams will crash the backside and force Iowa to have to commit to the nothingness that is the stretch side of the play.
The challenge for this staff is that they're gonna have to make a decision in the off-season. Either figure out a better way to keep that backside from being exploited, or scrap that sh** all together...........their call.
You’re absolutely right. The formations and play calls out of those formations are repetitive and easy to dissect. There is literally no imagination to the Iowa offense. It’s too easy for opposing defenses to play downhill and fly to the football.Bump for truthfulness.......
Stop running BACKWARDS!
I agree. The offense has to show signs of life outside that first drive.I mean, this possession has to result in a touchdown…
