Caliendo, well Messinbrink has looked a lot more human than we thought he would and lets seee if Mikey can time something and take a risk that will pay off, he has too in order to win.
Its great for Buchannon that he is facing Barr and not Cardenes, I think. Dont let the ghosts of penn state underdogs past get to you, Buchannon has the clear edge.

I never turned them off. Shane and Trent were phenomenal all tournament. It's a shame we won't have them for the finals.
I liked how Buchanan stated it, that he’s thankful he’s been given the opportunity to compete and be here

yessir. excellent job by TNT. Every wrestler who was at the right weight and not injured wrestled their asses off.
Semi-finals were a blast to watch tonight. Sure, it helps seeing the Hawks get three into the finals, but there were some dam good matches tonight.
He came into the tournament with a large and new knee brace and was moving pretty gingerly all weekend. Was pretty content to just ride guys and play defense mostly. It's pretty well documented at this point he came in hurt.
It's been an outstanding tournament overall.

I’m sure it’ll be Buchanan vs. Barr to start us off tomorrow, Carter vs. Keck for the final match.
So coming into the tournament we were projected 70 points without bonus. We currently sit at 65 right now with Parco only scoring 1 of those. So while we could still "underperform", in reality this has been a great coaching performance being put behind that unpredictable eight ball. Getting a champ or two would really solidify it though! Kudos to OSU and Nebraska for bringing it as well, has made this tournament much more fun and balanced than last year. If PSU, Iowa, and OSU continue to divide top recruits and then tOSU, Nebraska, Michigan, etc put together a solid top to bottom squad on occassion, the NCAA tournament could be a lot of fun again. Teams racing for 120 points is a lot more entertaining than tournaments decided after 3 sessions (even when that team was Iowa, the 2009 title was more fun to win for instance).

Nice night for the Hawks. 3 finalist and no chance at getting 3rd. Fun to not have 5 Penn State finalist but they do have 10 AA.

Will give AJF some credit here…very level headed response on the loss, no theatrics, no drama, just shook hands and took it on the chin. That is growth, whether he’s at Iowa next year or not, I hope he continues growing as a person.
I've watched the Ayala takedown sequence over and over and I have no idea how they gave 3 there, especially to overturn the call on the mat. I think that was quite a gift, and one I'm quite happy to take!
If you go to the main cast with Burroughs and Cormier they explained and showed the replay that Fuggit’s foot was hovering over the line when Ayala gained control.
