From another website: If IA is down 5 points or more when Fran makes his 1st substitution, the Hawkeyes record is 1 and 6 in Big10 play. 7 and 2 if the deficit is smaller or they have the lead.

Looks like the 1st three or 4 minutes is really important for this team.

That bodes well... considering that Wisconsin is one of the slowest teams in the country this year, so there should be fewer possessions before the first sub!

Remarkable that with only two games left in the regular season, the 8th youngest team in D1 is still in the hunt for an NCAA Tournament At-large bid!

Tonight is huge......for Wisconsin's experienced team that seems to be collapsing.

For us? Well, yeah I mean shoot for the moon and all but hardly anyone thought we'd still be in the hunt. Crud...fire away guys! No pressure on us.

Be tough on the boards and I think we pull the upset. Can Cook build on his last game on both offense and mostly defensive glass. He'll need help but if he gets it I think we win

I keep hearing about internal issues with the Wisconsin team. I wonder what that is all about.

We have more work to do to make the NIT if we lose tonight, lose to PSU and lose in the 1st round of the B1G tournament, we will not be in the NIT.

No key players with 2 quick fouls. We need all of our bodies eligible when we need them.
 
Cook has to watch his fouls, but Kriener, Pemsl, Wagner and Uhl can mix it up. We have to own the boards and Jok, Ellingson and Bohannon have to "go off." Wisky will be smothering our guards, so maybe we can "create" some fouls.

those are some very good points, imo...
one thing I will be looking for early on is how much Wisconsin is allowed to grab and hold Peter Jok...
I can't believe I'm the only one that thinks there has been too much grabbing and holding allowed on Peter Jok... almost as if the referees have contempt for Peter Jok.

if equal respect is given to Peter Jok... I look for Peter Jok to have a big night.

I just hope that if Cook comes out aggressive and plays the way he did against Maryland, the refs don't take him out of the game with some cheap foul calls, while Wisconsin mugs us per usual.

If Miles starts using his timeouts in the last minute while down 20 I'll drive to Minneapolis and beat his ass.
 
Not watching ESPN2, is nebby hanging? Will we see OT?
