Fran got his excuse to complain at the refs because he's got no coaching answer for what's happening.
Wisconsin has outplayed us. No question. But Davidson is a complete sh!tstain.

Yes. Can't control ref calls but you can rebound better and play smarter/harder on defense.
Game started off with JBO guarding
the nut puncher and Davison misses a 3 and JBO doesn't even try to look for rebound. Davison
got his own miss and JBO not within 10 feet.
Same with the bad call on the shot that didn't hit the rim wih shot clock expiring...5 Iowa guys and no one even goes for rebound.
Those 5 pts, plus the potential for us to score on the bs shot clock no call. Potentially a 7-8pt swing on awful calls that half. Wow

Why is Keegan taking midrange jump shots? Why does Patrick throw up wild layups? Why didn't we got for the two-for on the second to last possession?
We had the game within 5 and then had consecutive possessions with awful shot selection.

Talking about Johnny Davis for BTPOY after one half of basketball. I hope Keegan comes out in 2H and shuts everybody up

this is actually sort of an interesting (but incredibly dangerous) idea. Can you imagine if fans of a team raised “bounty funds” and paid some deep bench player to basically attack an opponent? I recall some orange looking dude did this with Miami FL football but obviously that was not supposed to ever become public.
Call me crazy, but I think we make this a game in the 2nd half.
Tough to be too mad at the offense when the Badgers are tracking for 90+. Ulis and Perkins should rotate at two guard the entire second half. Commit to defense

teams that don't play defense nor rebound are not going to win much of consequence...and Fran stresses neither...his teams never have.
Take a breath. It’s not time to move on from Fran. Rebounding isn’t good but we have no post player either. We average 7 turnovers while pushing the ball. There will be nights like this but get off the cliff!
Keegan can't carry us like Luka
Garza was good for 10 rebounds and Weezy was good for over 6.....those two guys wanted to get the ball and were sure handed.
Maybe Fran will change it up and keep all the players on the floor to those that can’t shoot, can’t create shots, can’t rebound and can’t score. Connor and Jbo are a waste in this game. It’s bad and it’s time for bed.....for me and the Hawks. It was 20-19 Wisky then Fran put Conner in and the slide started.
Btw Wisconsin has the BT player of the year. KM is great but he is on his own. Those that had Iowa at 10th in the conference were right unfortunately. This is not a team that is underperforming. This is a team that is performing to their talent and coaching level.

Can someone tell me what Fran is thinking on offense? Tight man D and this team craps their pants. WI methodically dismantling Iowa in all phases. Time to bench Jbo and Connor and go with your best 4 plus Josh or Mulvey. I have seen enough of Rebraca this season.
If Fran ever learns to coach rebounding, and all the talk about making players do scouting reports and yet the best players on teams are left open or defended by someone who can’t match up.
