Our beloved HAWKS are off to one of the best starts to conference in school history. Let's keep it going today men. Let's be loud and pull IOWA through to another B1G win!!!

Keys to the Game:
-We need Ad daddy to continue to dominate the glass
-I've noticed The Pain Reliever has tailed off a bit. 1 or 2 clutch 3s would be nice today
-Peat Moss continuing to score at a high rate
-We need to get out in transition and get some easy buckets
-Money Mike bouncing back from the Rutgers game with a solid effort
-Uboat continuing his POY 'esque season

Should be fun today. Luv my hawks!

Keys to the game:

1. Turnover creation - they can't score when they turn it over
2. Fast break points - hard to defend the rim when big are still in the front court
3. Guard rebounding - Woody/Ad Daddy/A-Wow will be locked up preventing AJ and Haas from getting offensive boards, Mike/Jok/Clemmons need to crash and clean up

Great point.

Need the guards to help out Ad daddy/A-Wow & Uboat with the rebounding.

This might be the most important game in 30 years of Iowa hoops. A 7-0 start that includes sweeps over 2 of the top 5 teams in conference is enormous. This is a home game. Gotta protect Carver.

That might be a stretch. Winning this game will be huge and put Iowa firmly in control, which will be great. However, a loss really doesn't hurt Iowa all that much. Hawks should be loose today.

I'm just a tad excited today. And, for some reason I find myself unable to concentrate. Last night I had dreams of Iowa basketball and they all turned out good. Today? Go Hawkeyes! Go Hawkeyes! Go Hawkeyes!

I think it might make sense for the Hawks to let Haas and Hammons have their points and focus on clamping down on the perimeter. By that I mean don't go overboard doubling or tripling the post and leave the 3-point shooters open.

If the Hawks bring the intensity, Iowa spanks PU big time. Then it's on to Maryland to make yet one more national statement against that "really talented" bunch of turtles.

Maryland is so overrated. This will be a tougher game IMHO.
 
Was really worried Mikey was gonna slap the floor as Purdue brought the ball up after the Uthoff 3.
 
like what i'm seeing from Ellingson right now, maybe he's started to turn a corner and get comfortable...
 
Two wide open threes out of inbounds plays for Purdue. Almost looks like Iowa is giving them that to prevent any easy baskets down low and they are making Iowa pay so far.
