Purdue basically has just stolen MSU;s playbook, mug us and make the refs make the calls. They have not done a great job of doing that so far.
for not shooting or rebounding very well this half we are still playing them even...if we come out and shoot/rebound a little better in the 2nd half we'll be fine
Perspective. Hawks were down 17 at Purdue at half. It's a 2 point game this time. Long way to go.
Why do they try that shit at the end of the half. Gesell just isn't that kind of a player.
Why not put Uthoff in on that final possession. Didn't even get a shot off!
I would say 70% of the time we do not execute that final shot.
Time and time again we wait too long to go to an option, and if that doesn't work perfectly we don't have time for a 2d option.

I HATE our end of game/half plays. Why stand still for 20 seconds? Get SOME movement, make the D work!
Decent half. Need Clemmons and Gesell to step up. Both are not bringing much to the table right now. Very disappointed in their defensive rebounding. Those two in particular are just watching. Uthoff keeping us in it. And can they please call Davis for a hold on Jok. Freedom of movement; what a joke.

The 1st foul on Uthoff was ultra cheap and bs given swanigan is a fat pig...and then he made mistake of grabbing Hammonds on a bunny that he wasn't going to be able to stop. End up with Uthoff hampered on Defense and sitting on bench

You don't like TO's and missed shots? What happened to Gesell's shot in his 4 years...scored a ton in HS and can't shoot very well in college.
Purdue came to play today but all the same, the refs are letting them have their way. But that short PG stole two loose balls, one of which became a 3 ptr. Multiple guys are bricking. And they're getting entirely too many dunks. We're only down a few and we haven't played well. This is where Fran needs to coach the Hell out of them. And the refs need to start calling some fouls on them.
