As opposed to the flurry of activity from Metcalf. The only committed shot in the last two minutes was from Frank. And he scored. And won.
The 2 point move was a slip by Metcalf, not saying he tore it up but Frank did nothing, there was a reason he was on the shot clock twice. Real nice crotch grab to the crowd after the win too. Totally classless.
Shocked to say the least. Brent essentially exposes himself on a shot off balance. Have to hand it to Frank...He was never going to go head to head with Metcalf so he waited for his one perfect shot. Brent failed to finish on multiple shots.
Pico just beat Oliver...showing everybody how to wrestle Iowa style in Carver. Never stopped trying to score. Oliver just gassed.
Zain wrestled a great match against Streibler...Striebler just better at this point. Say what you want but Zain had a great advantage being in shape coming off the season. Hardly looked winded. Lots of guys looking gassed.

A real youth movement (except for Humphreys) at 65kg. Never would've guessed that Metcalf and Oliver would be on the back side after the quarters. This is a tough tough bracket though.

I think the Metcalf window has probably passed sorry to say. Great wrestler but just not consistently dynamic enough and age is probably working against some of his strengths.
