Close loss but it's going to be a good game. Would be a fantasic win if we can get it.
Hope I am wrong but this sets up to be a bad match up for Iowa. RU has 3 bigs to harass Garza. Baker and Harper have fared well against Iowa. Need the bench to play big IMO. Rutgers 90-Iowa 78.
It's gonna be a physical day so they better go into it that mindset. If the outside game is on, Iowa by 10. If not, could be a long day.
If the refs don't screw Rutgers over then RU wins 83-40.
If the refs call too many fouls on Rutgers and causes their big guys to play tentative, Iowa wins 81-80.
My real prediction, RU wins 85-81.

Iowa up 2 with 40 seconds left, but finally hits some clutch free throws to pull away.
If Rutgers is at full strength, they win. I thought we were fortunate to come up with a “W” last year at Carver against them. We have to be firing on all cylinders and not allow Harper to go off with 30. If we go into this game with the mindset “We are going to outscore them,” we won’t come out of there with a win. The good news is there is no shame losing to a very talented Rugers team. Not even close to that one we gave away to the Gophers. Rutgers 84. Hawks 78.

No, they are a fun bunch so figured I'd go have some good old fashioned banter.
Actually we only have two bigs, as Cliff Omoruyi is out with a hyperextended/sprained knee. So it’s just Myles Johnson and 6-9 Mamadou Doucoure, and I think Garza will eat Doucoure alive.
Caleb McConnell is dressing for the game today. Sounds like he’s in the rotation

Based off what? One game LOL. Slow your roll there chief. One OT loss to a pretty darn good Minnesota team doesn't tell you much. After a few on the road with the same results, then you can try and make that arguement
Would be great to sweep these road games, but we really need to win one or the other. I suspect today's game will be very difficult unless we are hitting on all cylinders.
