Think you mean Ray B? You are always up his A@@ when he posts here.Nope. It was when Kemerer came aboard that we found out PA had high school wrestling.

Agreed. HR is in full melt down mode with some posters throwing accusations around whether there is proof or not. Making excuses is a terrible mentality to have especially in the sport we all love.A lot of stupid shit gets thrown around on these message boards and I typically just shake my head and ignore it. But something about your repeated accusations of kids using steroids is really getting to me.
Any chance you are willing to stop posting about that line of thought until there is actually anything of substance to it? Please???
Gilman helps with the lighter weights, 😂I'm sure Taylor takes care of recruiting on Carl's behalf if it's needed.
He weighed in at Nationals at 228, what did he weigh at beginning of season? Truth hurts!More lies. Are you really in Iowa somewhere or sitting in a Russian hacker pod in the Motherland? Stop making sh#t up. He weighed in at 228.2 pounds at the NCAA championship where he beat Gable for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Unless you have a better source for facts than that deranged skull. You're an embarrassment to this forum, and that is saying something.

How big are the big guys at the 2019 NCAAs? - WIN Magazine
Photo: Penn State’s Anthony Cassar and Minnesota’s Gable Steveson are seeded second and third at the 2019 NCAAs after reaching the Big Ten finals two weeks ago. The Nittany Lion weighed in at 228.2 pounds while the Gopher checked in at 257.8 two hours before the start of nationals in Pittsburgh...www.win-magazine.com
edit: @PSU Mike , I noticed that you linked this article previously. Then I read through the posts. Now I feel bad about piling on ironturd. He's been taking a beating from all sides.
U R SAD MAN!this is sad man
You saying some of your guys are now screwed up?Further evidence what PEDs do to brain function.
1) Football is NOT Wrestling. 2) Much harder to train thru wrestling, and really no off-season. 3) Here is some more news, MANY Football players are using PEDs!I’m not understanding the steroids argument in this case. Plenty of football players put on that much and more in an offseason. Not having to cut weight can really do wonders.
My guess is no he isn't but he should be!What do you figure Warner's walking around weight is? I bet he weighs more than 220 right now. And we KNOW he's not juicing!
Yea right!!!!🤷♂️ idk. Creatine does wonders, you can go hard twice a week on every muscle. Is that a PED? Steroids seem unlikely in this case.
Nick Lee?Nick Lee finished 3rd at the trials and is on the national team. He'd be subject to the USADA drug testing
First part CORRECT!!! How many have been caught? Back in the day, your RBY Jelly would have failed drinking his BANG crap before every match! Caffeine is on the list dummy!!! 2nd part YES- NO!I guess we learned from Iron Bird, that the current NCAA banned substance testing program does not work.
40 years in the strength game or roid rage tells him that.
Buddy you need to lay off the meth, it’s really starting to show.He weighed in at Nationals at 228, what did he weigh at beginning of season? Truth hurts!

NC is the abbreviation for the state of North Carolina, where I live. Hawk is self explanatory. 5 is my favorite number but also acts as an S if the viewer chooses to see it that way.Well lets start with your user name? What in hell is that???
LMAO. I’m not agreeing that athletes are juicing so I must be a Penn State fan?Well, why do you have HAWK, shouldn't you have the kittens??? NCkitten5
Keep laughing I guess? So you are like a flat Earth dude? you think athletes are not juicing!?!?! What athletes are you talking about?LMAO. I’m not agreeing that athletes are juicing so I must be a Penn State fan?
Ironic that you’re referring to me as a flat earther. I’m sure cheating happens, but I find your evidence unconvincing and your credibility as suspect. What does my wrestling match have to do with our conversation?Keep laughing I guess? So you are like a flat Earth dude? you think athletes are not juicing!?!?! What athletes are you talking about?
My 2nd thing, I am not one of these comp nerds or internet guys who go from board to board following messages from this guy and what that guy said 3 years ago etc.... But I do believe, without looking back now, that you are the same guy from another thread, that someone wanted to wrestle you?
Is that you too???
Tossing rocks in glass houses again? I think an iron bird would be too heavy to fly. Doubt it could swim either. :-/Well lets start with your user name? What in hell is that???
See here, this is exactly what I mean. You talk out of both sides your face and come across as what I call a pseudo. First you say one thing like athletes are not juicing, then cheating happens, what is your evidence on this?Ironic that you’re referring to me as a flat earther. I’m sure cheating happens, but I find your evidence unconvincing and your credibility as suspect. What does my wrestling match have to do with our conversation?
Debt,OK, lets keep it Real Wood you all? I understand probable not from the F*** guys because then they wood have to admit the truth which we all know now. The great kale has been operating by a totally different set of rules which allowed him before NIL to pay wrestlers whatever it took.
Above someone asked why would wood go to F*** land. please ask yourself the same question about Dean? The answer lies in the $$$$$. Ivy schools cost a lot! Most kids must take out loans and go into great dept. How does this pitch sound to you?
"Dear Maxy, woody, You know that 250K of dept you currently have? Well the great fale can take care of that for you!!! + free skool too!"
You might ask, WHY you do not see any F*** staters in the portal??? Why would there back ups at 197, 285 not hit the portal? My guess is you will see them with plenty of free eligibility years? The kid Mason Manville filled in a few times this season. The F*** st announcers, and I kid you not, said he has 2-3 MORE years left. I am pretty sure he was in school when I was and that was 30 years ago!!!!
Now the bandwagon F*** guys will have all sorts of good reasons for this. Red shirt, grey shirt, black shirt, covid and on and on. Honestly, I wanna say he committed in 2016. How do you stay in school this long? how do you pay? OH yes, he is in the ROTC, year right. They will just keep paying for the kid to be a career back up at f***land.
Fix is a cheater, I’ve called him out on here before because there is very strong strong evidence to support that claim. I’ve been a lurker on this board for years and a big supporter of the wrestling program. I’m not a false fan, read the NCAA threads and what I posted. I’m black and gold all the way. However, I’m not a fan of someone throwing shit out there and hoping it sticks just because another team is winning.See here, this is exactly what I mean. I guess the best evidence on this right here in this conversation would be the Russian Wrestling team! What happened to them? AND when I pointed out to NOT put them so high on a pedestal many years ago, just like MLB. I had this exact conversation!
Your Wrestling match, has a lot to do with it because you seem suspect? You appear to be a false type of fan over here. I am not sure!?!?
OH, wait, FIX is a cheater, oh, OK. So if you don't get caught is what you are saying right? How about Barry Bonds? McGuire? Sosa? i will tell you one thing. The REAL WOOD bat HR record is STILL 61!!!Fix is a cheater, I’ve called him out on here before because there is very strong strong evidence to support that claim. Hey, Cass, buddy, that leg doesn't look like it's gonna heal by 2023. We wanna do what's best for you and apply for a medical redshirt. Oh, hey, Gabe, what a surprise. Say what? Well, as a matter of fact...For the record, I am not sure where I stand on the whole transfer / over recruiting thing. To me it partially sounds like 'you get what you earn', and as long as nobody is pulling schollys for not performing, i doubt anyone was guaranteed a starting spot.
At the same time, Cassar should have realized that if he was the second best guy at that weight not only in the room, but maybe in the nation, he wouldn't even get the chance to prove it. If upsets didn't happen, we'd never watch sports.
I also don't mean to fault him for his loyalty.
Hypothetical to Iowa - if Steveson decided he wanted a change of scenery for his last year and fulfill his destiny to wrestle for the Hawks, would we (fans) say no? Would TnT? I have yet to hear of a single person who doesn't love Cass, and I don't think we'd want to lose him. And taking GS would feel dirty, and would be about the same upgrade points wise PSU got with Dean (though Cass should be a contender next year, assuming GS moves on)
OK I have to chime in on the new facility. I do not see why everyone thinks it will help so much. You have the same coaches and the same RTC and the same fans etc. Sure, you can say "look we really support wrestling here", but everyone knows that already.Guys - I have been following Iowa wrestling for over 50 years. I love the hawks! But right now we are not even close to P$U. The goals are individual and team Championships. They have won 9 out 20 National Weight Titles in the last two years. Hawks have a good team and excellent coaching staff. Beyond S Lee, who else? P$U just has more elite talent. The new facility will help in recruiting and training. But I would like to see Champs (1st) not 2nds or 3rds. Love the AA(s) but Iowa stands for winning! Go Hawks!!!! Also proud of Iowa putting together a D1 women team!
A brand new, modern training facility is a differentiator IMO. It could be the difference for some recruits. And you have to assume the resources of a new facility will better develop the athletes we already have in house.OK I have to chime in on the new facility. I do not see why everyone thinks it will help so much. You have the same coaches and the same RTC and the same fans etc. Sure, you can say "look we really support wrestling here", but everyone knows that already.
I do not think PSU has some over the top wrestling facility compared to tOSU or Michigan - do they? So what if the wrestling room has windows or the showers are extra big or their are bleachers in the wrestling area. Does that really change how a kid is developed? Does it change who comes to the school?
Iowa is already on the radar of most top level recruits. Getting the right ones to come and developing them will not happen because of a new building. Training them to be there best is not going to happen because of a new building.
Am I way off base here or does this make sense.
Things are a lot different these days with kids. 40 + plus years ago I couldn't give a crap about the facilities at my school.OK I have to chime in on the new facility. Yes and no. I do believe we are in a time where new facilities matter to recruits. Everything they need from training to rehab to studies is all in one location and it's brand new with all the bells and whistles. There are situations where this will make a difference to a recruit.OK I have to chime in on the new facility. I do not see why everyone thinks it will help so much. It certainly does not hurt....I look at it through the eyes of my oldest daughter (no pic)...she is being recruited by some colleges in the midwest to play soccer....and she does her homework prior visits or id camps (coaches background, roster size, conference, were they recruit their other players from (which was a new one for me), etc)....I can tell you that when it comes to 17-18 year old athletes and you have 2 schools that for all things comparable are essentially equal in everything....it most certainly comes down to facilities and amenities.OK I have to chime in on the new facility. I do not see why everyone thinks it will help so much. Yeah…it’s obvious Cael has trouble developing championship wrestlers. They recruited over to AA’s. In what world is that not getting the job done.
At some point loyalty matters. Future recruits are going to see this. It’s a pattern now. Also is Cael saying he’d rather not develop an AA into a higher AA or is he saying he can’t?
So why isn’t Michael beard an NCAA champion? DumbassYeah…it’s obvious Cael has trouble developing championship wrestlers.![]()
Can’t win ‘em all?So why isn’t Michael beard an NCAA champion? Dumbass
And Penn State is still winning. Sounds like a good deal to me! Laugh away Hawkfan!I heard all year long from the PSU lurkers that Bartlett would be amazing at 141, and SVN is gonna be a high AA. That’s not delusional, that’s from your fan base. It’s possible they’re delusional, I’ll be that at full price.
In my original post I said that I find it funny. Watching PSU fans walk back a years worth of dialog in a nanosecond is hilarious. But what should I expect from that fan base. So yeah, hahaha. I’m still laughing.
