This team just needs to shoot 45% from 3pt line for rest of the season...or...get better on defense.

Southern University is a historically black college (HBCU). Specifically, Southern University and A&M College, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is the flagship institution of the Southern University System. It was founded in 1880 with the mission of providing higher education to African Americans, following the passage of the Morrill Act of 1890, which mandated that states with segregated schools provide land-grant universities for Black students.
Southern University is one of the largest and oldest HBCUs in the United States, and it remains an important institution in the African American community, offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs across disciplines. The university has a strong tradition of academic excellence, cultural enrichment, and social engagement.
This Iowa team has talent. They just don’t seem to be well coached. The lack of both interest and discipline on defense is a staple. Getting beat off the dribble, or randomly leaving their man wide open to double team some phantom threat, leads to easy layups and 3’s over and over and over again.
Offensively, there are a lot of shooters, and when they are on look out. But frequently there is way too much dribbling and standing around. Even the announcers mentioned it.

spot on, not enough off ball screens and cutting. Standing around too much forcing pg's to dribble dribble dribble before someone gets open.
A couple of great interviews w/ Bobby and Jon Darsee. Brought back some great memories of that tremendous 1980 final four run. You can just feel the love and respect they have for each other with that team.

That’s true in hs. This is college. You can leave your feet if you now who/what you are drawing.
Settles just made a little bit of a disparaging comment about a Miami player being around for 7-8 years.
