4th in mvp votes and highest finishing guard. Is that good?
Sure

As I'd noted: If it's a "popularity contest", she's in.

If it's looking at her most recent performances, she's in (as in, 2nd half of the season, when she clearly has been one of the league's best)

If the award is for the entirety of the season, she was far less consistent early on compared to others in the league.

It's not that difficult to understand.

Irrelevant! It's her stats for the year she is getting awards for.

She got 4th for MVP for the entirety of the season. I checked with an expert the first half counts.

You posted them as "+"
The are + to the negative side. I copy and pasted the formula.

The WNBA's efficiency formula is:

Formula
Efficiency(Points + Rebounds + Assists + Steals + Blocks) - ((Field Goals Att. - Field Goals Made) + (Free Throws Att. - Free Throws Made) + Turnovers)
The efficiency formula is used by WNBA coaches and fantasy game players to evaluate a player's performance.

The efficiency formula is calculated by adding up the positive aspects of a player's game and subtracting the negative aspects.

I wonder what the ratings will be. Is church over? We all know thats what greatly swings the ratings!

Idiot

Try posting again

Use regular "English" and we can understand it, then.
Quit arguing about stupid stuff. I'm sorry my original post was not clear, but after I posted how CC's efficiency stats were figured do you see how her turnovers were not a positive? I can admit my first post wasn't clear, can you admit EFF stats do punish players for turnovers?

As I'd stated: "If it's a popularity contest"....
Actually if it was a popularity contest(it isn’t) then 4th would be a terribly inaccurate result.
The attendance numbers and tv ratings show that.

Pro tip - your use of ‘as I’d stated’ doesn’t really have any credibility in this thread

‘Admit’ from Joe? Better chance of hell freezing of over
And knowing full well that Joe would argue that just because it is solid ice it isn’t really ‘frozen’

Based on the first half today, I'd say it is indeed a "terribly inaccurate result".
Mitchell has played much better (so far).

Let's see if she can prove me wrong, and show up in the 2nd half.

1-9 in the first half of their playoff game.

I'm sticking with "50 voters voting popularity over substance" at this point.
She also did not perform well in the AS game.
Double figure assists. Drew defense to her and helped lead the team to a victory over the Olympic team. Pretty good
