Yeah, after looking at that throw again, likely not the best choice. Cade was off balance and just kind of chucked it up in traffic. We're lucky Vanderzee is 6'4".

B. More poor protection nearly gets Cade killed a few plays later
C. That would've been a sack/fumble (a sumble?) if Hill is QB.
D. That scramble should make people feel a little better about Cade going forward.
E. Cade has had a very nice 2nd half so far completion-wise
F. We have ourselves a f***ing playmaker/possession receiver in Vander Zee!!!

Maybe the Lester offense really is the PlayStation offense where you just press the circle button and it’s a TD regardless of the coverage.
Too bad Kirk is outside mowing the lawn and not seeing what his offense is capable of doing.
I've seen a dozen plays where Richman blocks no one. It's really odd how often he does this.
Zero pass protection - two rushers totally unblocked and Mac just chucks it blindly. Three receivers all in the same spot so it’s a friggin scrum at the goal line. Not bad if it’s the last play of the game but astonishing at this point. One guy happens to look back and see the ball is 20 feet under thrown and is lucky enough to turn around and catch it.
I don’t think this is going to work in B1G competition.
