He's happy that at year's end he will have convinced most of his scoring talent to hit the portal and the rest will graduate.

THE NARRATIVE for next year will be, "we're underdogs". His entire career has been about creating the "lil ole Iowa" narrative. If Sully or anyone else was allowed to shine then there would be expectations for next year. Can't have that.
