Will Wisconsin be good next year?

I do think Bucky will still be an NCAA tournament team, but I highly doubt they are a legitimate final four contender and Big Ten champ, especially if Dekker leaves.

The main reason is that this will be one of the first few years that Bo will have to depend heavily on multiple freshmen. That, and I think people somewhat underestimate how much having a guy like Kaminsky helps their guards and wings get open looks and shots. It will be much easier defending Bucky with Vitto Brown and Ethan Happ which will give Koenig, Showalter, and the incoming freshmen much more difficulty. I do think you will see Bucky return to a slower, defensive oriented game if they lose Dekker.

It's all in how you define good. If by good you mean lose only 2 games in the conference season, a No. 1 seed and Final Four, then likely not. If by good you mean top half of the league, solidly in the NCAA tournament with good shot at winning 1-2 games in the tourney, then yes.

Koenig has improved since taking over for Jackson. Hayes is Hayes. If Dekker comes back, they are likely among the favorites to content for the league. If Dekker leaves, then you could make the case others should be favorites. But have seen Ryan do a lot with similar talent to what he has coming back next year. At some point, the remarkable string of finishing in the Top 4 of the league will come to an end, but still a great run.
This **** for me......

A few things you can count on in Life.....death, taxes, .....

and that Bo Ryan will have Wisconsin in the top 3-4 in the B1G....again. It'll be harder if Dekker bolts fr the money but Ryan just gets the most out of his guys so like Izzo, you can never count him out. I have mad respect fr Ryan. Just an outstanding coach. Glad he's in the B1G.
