So.... Everyone thinking that losing Freeman was really going to hurt Iowa's already horrific defense and rebounding was wrong. Losing the Freeman/Harding duo is likely a net positive on that end of the court. Wisconsin only had 3 offensive rebounds that half and Iowa is leading in total boards by 1. In the last game vs Wisconsin, Wisky had 8 offensive rebounds and destroyed Iowa by 16 overall. Oh, and tell Sandfort to stop the hero ball shit. Stop launching off balance 3's that almost never go in.
Not sure why you guys put yourself through the pain.

Sandy is easily in my top 5 of most dislike Iowa mens basketball history. Not even hard to put him in there.
Still trying to make 1st team all Big Ten....Fran approves.
It's not what other teams do that has made Iowa one of the worst rebounding and defensive teams in the country.
It's very frustrating to watch. When he plays within himself he can be deadly, but his first halves have been absolutely brutal for most of the season.
Couple things stuck out:
Traore needs to play 30 minutes. Raw but high ceiling brings rebounding, defense and shot blocking.

Same. The dude is a momentum killer and has a low basketball IQ.

They move the ball around so much better with Freeman and Harding out. The offense slows down so much when Freeman has the ball in his hands and he’s hunting a shot. We are seeing good team basketball with these reserves and more importantly they are trying hard on both ends.
Ladji can't shoot it from inside. He has no business having the ball down there.
Actually this is a pretty entertaining team to watch right now with new contributors.
