Fools gold. You have 2 stiffs shooting set shot 3's that will never be open against really good teams. The young PG is much better than Thompson but it's hard not to be. He will hit a wall later and teams will get some tape on him so his life will get more difficult. Swannigan is a banger but is going to get away with a lot in conference that he will not in the tourney. Haas is a solid big but not great. The other Edwards is really good player. I have always like him.
How many times have we seen a 'great Purdue' team that looks like world beaters at home or in the B1G and gone from the tourney after the first weekend?

After looking at the stats (of which all were pretty close), the only one which stood out was the 3 pt. shots made.
Williams should transfer he will never be good, only thing he might he good at in the future is D....he should focus on being the best defender in the big ten if he wants to play.
But I like this team a lot and I feel the future is going to be great JBO will get better and I like his skill set just stop driving to the hoop imo.

I don't see Iowa lighting up the NCAA tournament either. Y'all haven't been to the Regionals since the 90's.

Never said we were lighting it up but given your finishes in the B1G to your production in the tourney.... Great home court advantage does not translate.

Big ten beat down #1 for the Hawkeyes. Expect more of this as this young team struggles to find itself. 500 ball is still my goal for these guys, and perhaps a deep run in the NIT. Next year and the following will be our turn.....
Purdue has a good team this year. Really impressed with how Swanigan has improved both himself and his game. Looks like he has slimmed down some and he's actually working at the game now rather than expecting it to fall into his lap which is what he was doing most of last year.... I agree, Indiana does suck.
I have been okay with making it to the round of 32 the last 2 years compared to the hole left by the last regime. I think we will get there again in 2 years when this group will be juniors and C. McCaffery/Garza will be sophs.
For the record, I had you guys winning the big ten. No disrespect intended.
