Give Dailey Uhl's minutes and get Cook playing defense and lets move onto Michigan
Moss needs to be backup PG and Williams needs to transfer to a Mac school or lower he's horrible.
Is Moss in the dog house? Hasn't hardly played it seems like. Last time i remember him is when he had his shot blocked many moons ago
It is hard to not agree with this. If it weren't for all the potential with the young bucks, I would really be questioning Fran a little right now. He certainly gets a pass for what he has done and how young the team is.
I'm thinking about more than just Purdue.
I like Fran, I like most of what he is doing. What I don't like, year in, year out, is how inconsistent his teams are defensively. All the top programs it is very hard to say this about them.
I don't want Iowa to be Purdue. But I envy purdue's toughness, as I do Michigan state's or, more years than not, wisconsin's.
Purdue last year had bad guard play, and we were able to expose that glaring weakness.
Hope we get tre wood or that Campbell guy who has Iowa in his top 5. Like JBO but we need a backup PG for him
I hate games when they call so many offensive fouls. Not sure what pemsl did to these refs before the game.
It doesn't get called because it almost never happenes.
Swanigan just extended his arm against Pemsl! Oh wait, it was Purdue, they're just physical!
It would be nice to see a little more fight in these guys. You don't take this blowout laying down. Make this game a little chippy.
He's taken more shots, I guess, so he has 6 points, but is 2-8 and 0-4 from three.
What... you think they should call the stiff arm foul on Swanigan? He didn't grab the facemask
A true PG like Purdue got this year (Edwards) makes a huge difference. 17 pts tonight? Our 2 headed faux PG of Bohannon/Williams = 6 pts. Some posters around here can deny it all day long but we need much better guard play. Next year won't be much better.
I still really like this Iowa team. Tonight is going about as I expected. Purdue playing very well and a very inexperienced team playing their first game on the road in the B1G.
Williams just looks like a turnover waiting to happen at PG. Jbo is far and away a better player and pg right now. Its more than just scoring too
3 assists tonight for Williams and 1 turnover. 4 assists for Jbo and no turnovers. Like I said, not much better tonight. Neither have been good.
There's no doubt that he's 10X better than Williams but Bohannon is probably the 13 or 14th best PG in the BIG right now. That's not good.
