Hawks better come out with their hair on fire after halftime, or its gonna be a long slow painful finish of a loss tonight - with some flashes of hope as the Hawks close the distance but then let them balloon a lead back out.

Krikke has been Fools gold for most of B1G games. His offense 80 percent of time doesn't make up for him getting abused on defense/not rebounding. PMAC less harmful because Fran sticks him on perimeter not doing much either way.

That "no ill intent" foul that Shannon put on him where Dix was body checked hard into the stanchion/cameraman's knee should have been give a 2nd look. Wouldn't have upgraded it, but deserved a look nonetheless.
No reason Harding shouldn’t start to begin second half.
But looking tired. We need the same energy in the 2nd half that we had the last 10 minutes. Perkins and Sandfort need to step up, they’re both well rested.
So much fun to watch Harding play with Freeman and Dix. A lot of great timing.

If you only count like 3 or 4 years since its been around, sure.
Otherwise, it seems like they "all or nothing" there. Either win it all - or very nearly so - or are 1-and-done.
Maybe he played so much in the 1st half for emotional support or something. It certainly wasn’t for anything measurable or tangible.

Dix is not playing well. He has been wide open and missed unlike the last 3 games.

Wonder what it would be like if Iowa actually played their best 7/8 players consistently. Not sure Iowa ever had the best 5 on the court at one time with McCaffery coaching. I so hope he leaves with son at the end of the year. Probably wishful thinking.
They called it earlier on a nearly exact same type and circumstance kind of play, and you're right, the ball was either inside or above the cylinder when Shannon touched it but was ruled a "play on".

Fran will trot out the usual starters (in his defense most do), we'll get down closer to 20, and then bring Harding in to make somewhat of a game of it. I'm sorry but this is a horrible matchup for Krikke.
Need Harding, Perkins, Dix, Payton, and Freeman to start and play the lion's share of the second half minutes.
