Joey Cruz is legitimately good. What a crazy development. Love it.
Drake just shut down completely after giving up the TD in the third. I don’t get it but it is what it is as they say.
Would been nice, just a little sloppy for a second.
The Cruz victory, barring a massive Gopher upset later, pretty much eliminated any chance for Minny to win.
He’s definitely not gonna be the biggest 125 or the strongest but if he can push guys an entire match, and not get stuck on bottom, he’s really gonna be someone to watch for.

Yeah, getting caught flat footed and getting taken down is no big deal. But get out, get a takedown and ride the piss out of the guy for the last 30 sec and finish on top. Dont shut it down and let the guy walk off the mat feeling good about himself
Choosing down against NU was a mistake, and was not repeated tonight! Cruz is a 2 position wrestler.
In 4 years one of these 141 has developed big time and the other wrestles for Iowa
You guys are not giving Wells enough credit. He is a very dangerous wrestler that is hard to score on. Drake just scored more points on him than he’s ever given up in his career.
I guess anytime you send CS out there and he doesn't get stuck, you figure that's a plus.
Thought 125 was gonna be a big hole this year, turns out 141 is way worse
Unfortunately this is likely his epitaph at Iowa.
There’s gotta be something out there after this year to be better than this
DA could have turned the heat up after the release escape. Once he was taken down the bonus was essentially out of question, best to stay away and secure the victory.
CS looks like he finds ways to not finish a takedown
