Leave a shooter wide open you’d think we’d have an extra guy to rebound. Nope easy rebound and lay in. Hard to come back when even Illinois misses they get 2nd and 3rd chances constantly.

Frustrating game. Both teams scoring at will. But, IL can actually rebound and the whistle is decidedly in their favor.
I guess it’s a little late in the season to bring Syd Affolter in to teach the men how to block out.
As Payton was sitting in the coaching chair trying to ralley up his teammates, I heard the announcer say that also happened in a previous game and the coach wasn’t even in the huddle. He was walking around elsewhere close by or something.
Idk if true but.. I feel real bad for these kids. I hope that they get some postseason experience that’s positive without Fran.
