Because we were up double digits late in the second half and choked. It's a bad loss given the circumstances.
Arguably not that consequential. Iowa needs to get quad 1 wins. They need multiple wins vs Wisconsin, Illinois, MSU, Etc.
Maryland misses 2 FTs and Iowa misses the close opportunity. 
Haven’t watched a game in awhile, so this is a general observation. 1 thing I would absolutely never trust is Frans development and use of a pg. It’s become very apparent he has no f’n clue what a pg should be and how to use 1 in today’s game! I blame Fran, not Bowen

Maybe because of an 18 point turnaround from a 10 point lead to 8 point deficit in just a few minutes....in a game where Maryland went 85% of the game without holding a lead. Who gives a f__k what was predicted BEFORE the game was played. The game was played. Iowa led for the vast majority and melted down. That is why.

Iowa's strength and conditioning really shows up at end of games. Iowa has a bunch of skinny/soft kids for the most part and play like it at the end of games. Yeah. McCaffery knows what he is doing.
