Really good discussion. Scott says right now Iowa is playing like a 5 seed (and not like an 11); based on how teams are playing, he'd seed the B1G Tournament like this: USC, UCLA, Maryland, Ohio State and Iowa.

If the earlier games are any indication, the referees are allowing a lot of contact in this tournament. My gut feeling is that the extra physicality favors MSU, If that type of officiating continues tonight. I’m sure Jan and her staff will prepare accordingly.
Anything that keeps HS out of foul trouble is a plus, so I’m not sure I agree. This team is tough as nails. Physical works for us
Good point. I was thinking more about MSU mugging ball handlers which, in turn, could lead to more turnovers.
Yes, also a good point, with that said we are not timid anymore & we have ball handlers & I suspect across the board we are more athletic/quick. And really who has taken more of a beating this year than Hannah and Sydney and hell for that matter Lucy or Kylie.
