Our defense leaves something to be desired but Ohio State is playing really well.
Lots of trashing on Mulvey, but who for Iowa has been good on defense?
IMO, Sandfort should start. CMac is usually better off the bench.
Regardless, the problem has always been when Iowa can’t get stops and starts getting behind they start forcing stuff on offense. That’s when you see a lot of forced shots and dumb turnovers. This gets compounded by the fact Fran refuses to call timeouts.
I also think your seeing the talent gap being exposed. If Iowa isn’t lighting it up from 3, they’re pretty easy to beat for any decent team with athleticism.
Lets just hope they don't play any or those terrible Burger King spots or that commercial with the disgusting Karen-woman talking about lubing up her stinky ass-crack with liquid deodorant.
Garza wasn't quick afoot when he arrived on campus. Or, when he left campus for that matter.
The kid needs a lot of work. It's unfair to compare anyone to Garza, I know that, but Mulvey needs to demonstrate more internal drive.
