I'm hoping this season is like around the Indiana game last year. I was super down on them and didn't think the season would amount to anything. They managed to flip the script, but I'm not sure I see it with this team.

Remember folks.....according to some posters on this board Fran is the best possible coach Iowa can have. If he is fired the program is guaranteed to go back to Lick level.
They just lost two of the very easiest games on their schedule this year, in embarrassing fashion in both, and are in the process of getting embarrassed again vs a team they likely should beat - even in HV.

After the first 5 weeks or so in football, I adopted TCU as my "other team" for just this year. I was super frustrated with the offense and was wanting to pick someone at random to watch. Maybe try that for hoops?
They will be lucky to beat NW once. They are a much better team than Iowa IMO

When you look at how they are playing/shooting individually, it makes a lot of sense.
PMAC, Sandfort, josh Dix--> the worst group of small forwards in the B1G right now. I agree Sandfort and
PMAC both might turn it around in 3pt shooting, but they are the worst in B1G right now because none of them can buy a basket and defense is so-so in Sandfort/Dix case to really bad in Pmac case.
Rebraca is below average center in B1G. Too small and not especially skilled.
Perkins is a shell of himself, below average B1G player right now.
Ullis is probably the worst PG in B1G at offense. Plays pretty good defense.
Kris Murray is obviously above average B1G player. CMAC is playing at level of a smart but mediocre below the rim B1G player right now. If most of your players are below average, you expect a bad basketball team. They look to be little bit better than Lickliter teams.
Many on here thought Iowa would finish better than this.
