Hopefully Iowa's shooting tonight is hot enough to melt those icy Madison streets.
Only thing I'd bet on Iowa basketball is the OVER at home.
I don't wanna turn the game off before its over tonight, Hawks, for the second game in a row.

The late start and winter storm should work to Iowa's advantage. I'm hoping for a small and uninspired crowd.
I thought there was a good chance this game would be postponed. Happy it isn't!

Sirmons was in Texas last night. He reffed the Rutgers and Michigan games in Iowa City and the Duke game in MSG.
Kissinger was in East Lansing last night. He reffed the Iowa/Nebraska game in Lincoln.
Carstensen has been off since Sunday. He reffed the NW and Maryland games in Iowa City. And the Seton Hall game. He's also done 6 Wisconsin games. Wisconsin was 1-5 in those games.
Sadly he typically isn’t quick to shoot but when his teammates turtle under he takes the shots vs shot clock violations

Can't complain about the ref draw tonight all things considered. Anybody but Green, Scriota (sp?), and Szlec and I'm happy...
When you have fans preferring you [Scirotto] over another ref [Green] or two [Szelc]; they're impossibly bad at their jobs.

Lose, and Hawks could very well be in the middle of a 4-game skid. [@NW, @UW, vs MSU & @IU]
