Alright my friend, Iowa dropped 3 in the NET not even playing. Is it the efficiency ratings that are hurting them?Feb 11
apparently the teams that jumped us won last night? i was not paying close enough attentionAlright my friend, Iowa dropped 3 in the NET not even playing. Is it the efficiency ratings that are hurting them?
Michigan who lost an actual game only dropped 1, and Iowa dropped 3.
Maybe it was Bucky losing they dropped 4, but that could be a combination of Bucky losing and Michigan losing.
KSU and Mississippi State both had wins against good NET teams, so that is what happened. MSU by double digits, and KSU on the road.apparently the teams that jumped us won last night? i was not paying close enough attention
Why the F did we drop a seed with a 1 pt loss to a dang good team? Here's how Iowa can earn its way to Des Moines:

I get it, i don't recall much that would of moved us a seed line but I didn't dig deep.Other games were played besides the Iowa-Maryland game.
It looks like NET is really gonna matter this yearI get it, i don't recall much that would of moved us a seed line but I didn't dig deep.
Me neither. I was just saying. Keep in mind, this is the first year of NET for bracketologists and they may not be accurate. Assuming they ever were, at this point of the season.I get it, i don't recall much that would of moved us a seed line but I didn't dig deep.
8 SEED HERE, TOO.

Help me out. How can ISmoo be a 4 seed? They're 5th place in their own conference. Hardly top 16 in the country

Who has ISU as a 4 seed?

It makes absolutely no sense to me either, but somehow the metrics & 'eye test' merits their seeding in the eyes of the "experts".
The ESPN guy today, March 5, has ISwho as a 5 seed
The Fox Sports guy on March 4 had them as a 7 seed
Today, March 7, after a loss last night at #114 West Virginia, Iowa State's seed has...
drum roll please...
NOT CHANGED. They continue to be a 5 seed (in the West).
I'll Take it!Iowa CONTINUES to be a 9 seed in the SOUTH (Columbus), will beat #8 VCU in the 1st round and then beat #1 Kentucky in the 2nd round. Iowa then will face/beat #4 Kansas State and #2 seed Duke (@Hawksfor3 !!) to advance to the Final 4 in Minneapolis!!!
