March 17 ESPN Bracketology: #10 IOWA Beats #2 Tennessee to Advance to Sweet 16

My second favorite team is Syracuse, so I would actually be more than happy with that matchup; i'm happy either way!

it sucks that we are trending towards that 8/9 line!!!

maybe we can have another UMBC type upset over a 1 seed!

remember when we were trending towards the 4/5 line?

The morning of March 16:

Howie Schwab, who BTN & FOX Sports are constantly referring & going to, has Iowa as a 9 seed in the South (Kentucky is the #1 seed).

Schwab is a moron. Minnesota has a worse record and a worse NET rating. No way are they an 8 and Iowa 9.

What follows INCLUDES Oregon's upset of Washington.

So, it looks like Iowa is locked into either an 8 or a 9 (who cares which) with #1 North Carolina likely the next possible opponent.

Should not be much drama in this year's Selection Sunday.

8 or 9 seed for Iowa. Book it.

The only questions are what region and what city.

The Road to Minneapolis starts now!

@Hawksfor3 are you as disappointed as I am that we likely won't face Duke until the Final 4 or National Championship game? I prefer knocking them off much sooner. We owe 'em!

ON IOWA!!!
GO HAWKS!!!
