I've lowered my expectations to 1st year Fran level. Hope for a winning season and watch the young players grow.
Krikke got called for the exact same contact on the other end... Minus the being in the air part. 100% of the contact initiated by the offense, Krikke straight up, but rewarding the offensive player with 2 FTs.
Shouldn't be a foul, but call it in both ends
It isn't very appealing to watch Iowa B-ball. Below the rim players, tall, lanky, soft and chucking 3's, Ole on defense.
Looks like a dogfight at home.

In Fran’s mandatory 1st half jail
he will learn not to play 1st half defense by mid year.
The Sandfort's are killing us this half. Pryce all year in fact, he saw way too many minutes in the first half for my taste.
Hawks lose this one and its going be a looooong rest of the season.
I know the competition wasn't exactly cupcake-y - and two were on the road - but an 0-3 week seems like a fairly bad omen for the rest of the way.
This season reminds us how spoiled we were with guys like Luka and the Murrays. When Luka and Keegan got going - even Kris could do it at times - they literally carried the team on their backs.
I wouldn't count Freeman out form turning into an AA talent like them, but until he reaches that point in a couple years, its gonna be a team effort with the rest of the underclassmen.

Both teams played bad sport and overcame both of their poor defenses by shooting even more poorly. Iowa trailed 35 to 33 going into half.
Please bench PMac for not giving ball up to wide open breaking Freeman, missing contested shot on a 4 on 2, not getting back on D, then jacking up quick 3..

I agree with that except for the chucking threes part. Iowa's 3 point rate is pretty low relative to the rest of college teams, you could potentially make a case they should take more of them.
There is just no life in this team or crowd.

Im thinking we get Perkins out of the game and just run with Payton at the point, Braun at the two, Patrick at the three, Freeman at the four, and Krikke at the five. Just forget about the guards.
No way is Pryce ready. Didn't understand the minutes he got.
Pmac is horrible. 10 mins a game player at most. So frustrating.
