Kennedy vs Canigliaro doesn't seem too scary and he may get good fortune in the quarters depending on Griffith's health. Could well make the semis if Griffith isn't 100%. Then likely looking at Starocci or Mekhi.
Going to be a very tough road to get a trophy this yearIowa seeds

Yeah, prefer Ramirez over Carr.Caliendo would have Ramirez likely to make semis, which is also best-case scenario I think. Overall, I like our draws.
he got the worst draw in the entire tourney. That side has three champs in it. He likely goes to consis after quarters and has to fight like hell to get 3rd from the #1 slot. Talk about the kiss of death. They really put it to Mekhi.
Yeah. Good for him that he’s look the best he has for a few years now. I think the All Star meet happened before his weight was really managed, so not sure if Carter can do that to the same degree. We’ll see. They really put it to Mekhi.
Not ideal at all. And a guy who beat Alirez twice previously. The bright side is that the guy hasn't beaten anyone good all year in 2023-24, but has lost to 3 guys Real beat this year.Woods drawing the guy round 1 who beat him in the r12 3 years ago isn’t ideal lol.
What a joke, Starfish 9 seed. LolThey really put it to Mekhi.
I really like Franek’s draw. If he gets Teemer in the quarters, that’s a very winnable match. Teemer lost to Chittum (9-5) and Robb (6-4) this year and Franek beat Chittum and Robb twice.Honestly, Iowa got some funky seeds but they're in good positions in the bracket.
How the heck did he get #2 seed? Just because won conference?I really like Franek’s draw. If he gets Teemer in the quarters, that’s a very winnable match. Teemer lost to Chittum (9-5) and Robb (6-4) this year and Franek beat Chittum and Robb twice.
Assuming chalk and no bonus is a waste of time to me. It’s not even close to a good projection. Not saying Iowa is going to for sure get top 3 but I would be shocked if we finished 9th.
Love to see Lewis knock off Starfish. It definitely feels like they are very heavily weighting conference championship placement.
It’s probably an attempt to curb the MFFs.
Where should Hamiti have been seeded?Hamiti got screwed at #5 big time. They gave Mess a dream draw.
Ramirez was over seeded due to a very early season win over Carr, without getting penalized at all for the Olejnik loss. As a result, Hamiti ended up with Carr as the 4 seed and hitting each other in the quarters.Where should Hamiti have been seeded?
But less than 10 points from placing 3rd and bringing home a trophy
Has he wrestled anyone of note this year? ACC doesn’t appear to have much @ 174 outside of him, but perhaps I’m overlooking someone.Yeah. Good for him that he’s look the best he has for a few years now. I think the All Star meet happened before his weight was really managed, so not sure if Carter can do that to the same degree. We’ll see.
I wouldn’t say he got screwed. 165 is just flat out tough. It appears it came down to H2H, Carr beat Hamiti and Ramirez beat Carr. Had Carr beat Ramirez, you could’ve made a case for Carr #3, and Hamiti/Ramirez at 4/5.Hamiti got screwed at #5 big time. They gave Mess a dream draw.
His best wins are over Kharchla and Turley.Has he wrestled anyone of note this year? ACC doesn’t appear to have much @ 174 outside of him, but perhaps I’m overlooking someone.
Depends on his ability to perform with current injury. What a joke, Starfish 9 seed. Lol
There in lies the risk of wrestling in the Cliff Keen in early December.Ramirez was over seeded due to a very early season win over Carr, without getting penalized at all for the Olejnik loss. As a result, Hamiti ended up with Carr as the 4 seed and hitting each other in the quarters.
It should absolutely be O’Toole 1, Mess 2, Carr 3, Hamiti 4 and Ramirez 5.
Same with Michigan 11th. No way.Assuming chalk and no bonus is a waste of time to me. It’s not even close to a good projection. Not saying Iowa is going to for sure get top 3 but I would be shocked if we finished 9th.
Remember when we thought Alex got hosed on his draw for a #1. Yeah Mekhi beats that by a mile hahe got the worst draw in the entire tourney. That side has three champs in it. He likely goes to consis after quarters and has to fight like hell to get 3rd from the #1 slot. Talk about the kiss of death.
