133 Teske C+ back in wrestling Tuff and hard found a way to win!

141 Woods -A beat a high ranked opponent, still doesn't have his full tank it seems. I will add, I would pay good $$$ to see him and Eireman go at it for a practice! I have no idea how that would actually go??? Man it would be entertaining!

149 Murin- A trust your stuff kid and let it fly!!!

157 I wanna give the kid an A but it is still a loss? #1 ranked kid, kept it close. reg decision, did not back down. Maybe a B?

165 Kennedy B+ came out swinging with a quick TWOOOO then slowed a little then poured it on to get major.

174 Bands Highest ranking you can give in a loss similar to 157. Would have liked to see him fire off a good shot at the end.

184 Assad C+ sloppy but got win against ranked kid

197 Warner B, cutting him some slack because I think his knee is hurting him? Hoping he heals up quickly!

Heavy BIG Cass A kicking Ass!

Carver A+ looked like it was packed and rocking!!!

Terry A thought he was going to wing his shoe off the REFs Noggin!!!!

REFs certainly better than the crap in PA!

Feeling better about 174 and 184 keeping it close against F*** st. Worried about Warner. Need BIG Cass to beat KerKin!

Not bad. I'd give Teske a B. He hasn't had much time on the mat, and he was able to gut out a win against a kid that was 11-2 or something like that. It wasn't the prettiest match of the night, but he did pull out a win.

Was a funny match. Still beat the #5 guy fairly easy. Kid was a good mat wrestler too so it was tricky the way he was able to counter some of those tilts! Woods is a darn good Wrestler, I believe if he is at 100% he is a NC!

Damn, Warner got a better grade than Teske? JWar is an NCAA finalist who won on riding time vs an unranked kid. ( Flo has him at #20). Teske wrestled his ass off and didn’t quit in just his 3rd match of the year. He’s trending the right way, JWar ain’t.

My observations on the night. Iowa looked good but PSU looks great unfortunately. Really interested in Kennedy and Facundo matchup. My grades:

125, Lee - A: Looking great. Loving the quick falls but still would like to see him in the third period against a tough kid. It's likely going to happen in March at some point, just need to be ready.

133, Teske - B-: didn't really look great against a lesser opponent. First match back so we'll move on. He's just a more complete wrestler than Cullan.

141, Woods - C: Yes, C. Two matches in a row he's faded at the end. I HATE giving up that takedown at the end. Woods is a beast and needs to be held to a very high standard. Fading in the third will cost him. He'll get it sorted out IMO.

149, Murin - A I guess: He needs piss and vinegar like this against top ranked opponents. We've been asking for his offense for 5 years.

157, Siebrecht - B: He didn't back down against #1 Robb. Just outmatched. Hoping he comes out swinging against a very in form Levi Haines next week.

165, Kennedy - A-: I think he could have got that major sooner which is the only reason he doesn't get A+.

174, Brands - IDK, C?: He was in deep on that leg at the end and just kept his dead down. That was very frustrating to watch. Labriola is heavy there but damn that could have been his carver moment.

184, Assad - B: good takedowns in the third. Solid win.

197, Warner - C: We're all waiting for the Warner of last year. I always give Warner a pass in the months leading up to March as he's money at nationals. I'm a little concerned but I'll trust he'll be ready in 2 months.

HWT, Cass - A: He's just a stud to watch compete. It's crowded at the top 3 in heavyweight but we gotta think he's got just as good of chance as the other two.


Next weekend will be fun.

First off, I know @so cal hawkfan is a Hawk fan, there is no doubt. I know PSU is good and Everyone that knows my posts knows I appreciate good wrestling, but we don't need an entire thread of kissing their ass here, inviting other trolls to do so directly before one of our big home duals.

There are many on here that have posted that they believe you are just a troll and nothing else, not just me. Agree completely on the amount of time to secure the fall, unacceptable. On positive note, Lee finally showed he can shoot to the left side and can actually turn an opponent with other than a tilt. Maybe the appropriate grade is somewhere between an A- and solid A.
