Fran’s wife has a year left.
He can stay in front of his man on defense. It's the same old thing with Iowa's defense. Everybody would blame Cook and others but it's really the guards. You have to have guards that can stay in front of guys. If you don't, the whole defense breaks down. Evelyn has better fit speed than most.
Toussaint has shown me some things.
I hope DePaul goes on and has a great season. That's the least they could do after basically exposing the Iowa basketball program over the course of 40 minutes.
Finally get a pretty good schedule of games and of course, we suck.
If Joe T does not start and play big minutes next game Fran needs to be fired on the spot. He has something no one on this roster has. He could be ridiculous if we let him play through some mistakes.
Quick, active, aggressive to the basket. He should be playing more in the future based on this game.

Fran has been here 4 years too long. Ready to move on. Don't see things getting better under him

It's pretty obvious but Connor shouldn't be starting over Joe T. He's not a better offensive player and he can't play defense like Joe T. Hmmm, wonder why he doesn't start over Connor.
He should have already been playing big minutes.
Only bright spots tonight - Kriener in the first half with CJF and Joe T (who I'd like as the starting backcourt) in the second half.
Come on, you are being too tough on Iowa. After all look how bad Iowa was under Lick......it’s only been 11 years now.
But who throws better baseball passes? That's what Fran really looks for in a player.

Their coach was suspended for NCAA infractions by his staff. So....maybe.....they cheated. Just saying.
I know DePaul relaxed and took foot off the gas, but I will actually give the kids in yellow credit for playing hard to end the game.

I’ve got money on the MNF game so switched over to that a little bit ago. Sounds like Toussaint is playing well though. He’s definitely made his case either for a shot at starting or the majority of the PG minutes
Starters should be Joe T, Fredrick, Wieskamp, Kriener and Garza. Bring Evelyn, Pemsl and Patrick McCaffery off the bench and JBo if he decides to play. No one else should play.
I heard Dolph say that on the radio about Connor when he was inbounding...I laughed out loud..
I agree with those of you praising Toussaint but how in the hell are we supposed to win with this group?

I’m on the 9ers -6, which is looking increasingly shaky with Sanders out. Still pretty annoyed with that fumble returned for a TD, though I supposed Metcalf’s goal line fumble made up for it
My passive aggressive question for Fran as a reporter- Fran do we have the athletes to win? Of course he’d blow a gasket and say yes, the answer is obviously no l.
