Because Kris sat on bench last year and didn't get a sniff. It is matter of experience. At the very least, he is more athletic and better rebounder and defender than either PMAC or Rebraca.

He has had his opportunities this year, and he has not shown what he has tonight. He didn't show much in his limited time last year. You saying he was great all along doesn't make it so.
