You honestly don't think they watched our last game where he ran a fake and got a standing ovation? I'm sure it crossed their mind during game prep this week that Ferentz is desperate and likely to try more trick plays.

Oh I'm sure they talked about it. I'm sure Ferentz talked to his team about defending fakes in the past too.

Guess you can only use hindsight to defend a hypothetical scenario, but that's all you have, so enjoy that.

The result on the field was a 20+ yd run inside the 5. For a better sample size, maybe they should try running that again in the middle of a game instead of right at the end of a half.
