I really don't understand why Fran doesn't tell his players certain things during timeout. We knew we were going to get the ball with three seconds. Nobody called timeout after the ball went in. Every point matters.
Same with the runouts they are getting off turnovers. We had fouls to give. Even if we didn't, make them earn it at the free throw line. Letting them run into dunks and layups is just dumb. FOUL

I think it was big for Joe W to see a couple shots go in late. Need him to keep shooting in 2H
Not sure if I would like that but it would at least be consistent. They should stop the clock under a minute in both halves, not sure what the reasoning is not to (as long as they don't give teams more timeouts or increase TV timeouts).

I think they are about the same as us. 10-10 in the league with a chance to do a bit better with some good luck and no injuries. I think they will make the NCAA tourney.
I agree Iowa had a foul to give. The offensive rebound would have been an ideal spot.
I’ll completely disagree about fouling on a run out. Don’t need a flagrant or at best an and one. I like Fran’s philosophy of, if you’re beat, you’re beat. Don’t compound it.
I think if we finish with more points than Penn State, we should have a good chance to win.

You don't have to flagrant from behind. Bakari gave a half-hearted swipe at Stevens the ball handler at half court, who then proceeded to sprint to a layup. Bakari needs to go for a hard steal there. At best you get a steal, at worst you get a foul called on you and send them to an inbounds.
Agree. Can’t give up so many or it will be a long second half, especially with CJ out.
