He’s awake and alert. He found out from his coworkers after he woke up yesterday that they were talking to him and he just glassed over and stopped responding. He had been sitting in a chair and started seizing so they laid him on the ground. It only took a minute for paramedics to arrive as they are practically next door. They are still trying to figure out why it happened. Initially they thought he passed out and hit his head causing a brain bleed then the seizure. The new info from his coworkers contradicts that theory so we’re kind of back to square 1 as to the cause. But he’s in a much better place right now. They are moving him from ICU to the regular floor today. Still another day or 2 in the hospital. Neuro was just in and they will probably do another EEG. The first one they did was while he was sedated on the ventilator so he wants to make sure it doesn’t change when he’s awake.
