I see Patrick in the same light as Petras; lack of a killer instinct pervades the rest of the team and hurts our overall level of toughness and commitment. Not working away from the ball, rebounding And limited defending.

Good news folks! We only have to watch Patrick McCaffery for 20 or so more games. Gonna be a rough few months but we'll get through it. I don't know if I've ever seen a college player give worse effort on the court.
For PMAC it's lack of effort. For the other guys, they "try their darndest" but still stink on defense. Honestly, I am not sure which of these two possibilities is more painful to watch.

And 1 offensive rebound FOR THE SEASON. Both are stats I read in game threads that seemed impossible so I had to fact check. They're both real.
Probably the laziest BB player to ever wear an Iowa uniform. 6ft9 and no apparent desire to fight for a rebound, what a waste.
Hes been pretty good at staying in front of his man the last couple games and getting his hands on interior passes.
He still takes a lot pointless gambles that put his team in a bad position but Perkins is still doing the same shit because no one is actually coaching them on how to defend as a team.
It's a disgrace for a big ten team to be so sloppy and disorganized.
Yeah, the more I watch of him the less impressed I am.
He's got a lot of skill but he's so weak around the basket at both ends.
I'd rather see Brauns getting a more of those minutes.
