Where does ISU go when the Big 12 implodes?

Good for you. You stick to your principles. It is a good thing you never did anything in your life that you weren't proud of. Someone should just ask you, and you can stand on your soapbox and crow. You can stand in judgement of anyone, anonymously.

Boohoo...if you're a "friend"(shook hands at booster meeting once) of wife beater McBlarney it speaks volumes about you. Ratturd.

Noone is buying the bs you so desperately try to peddle around here.

Get off the board.

It's a Hawkeye state.
You know it.
McBlarney knew it.
Even High school ref heckler Polltard knows it.

My God.

You've got a bag of winners over there.

Keep trying to convince yourself. Tear other folks down so you can feel better about yourself.....just get counseling.

If this really bothers you take a stand.

Demand that cryclown fans on cyclone fanatic don’t act like douches towards Iowa in a way that you claim to be so offensive. You can really make a difference here ratbird.. Take on the noble cause to change how isu is looked at. Start with the Iowa football recruiting thread. Call out each and every post by a clown fan doing what bothers you so much.

Or could it be that what really bothers you and your fellow clown fans is when an Iowa fan throws crap back at you that you have no answer for? Yes that would be the purest definition of little bro syndrome isn’t it?

Let the world know exactly what it is you stand for. Come on be a man and tell us exactly what you are going to do to change what gets you so worked up. We can’t wait for your insightful response.

There is a zero chance that most of the trolls on the Rivals board at CF are not staff people driving traffic with that inane continuous back and forth drivel.

I’m amazed by the arrogance of my fellow iowa fans that are hoping Oklahoma, texas, notre dame and others to join. You do realize, we don’t do anything in this conference as it stands. Hiw do you think it’s going to go then? Also, i get the clown bashing, but if the b10 started iver, we’d likely be in the outside looking in for the same reasons
However, Iowa City is located closer to Chicago & St. Louis (vs Ames for instance) so think Iowa is a more attractive program than isu to a Power 5 conference.

1) this is a football forum so I won't attempt to compare Iowa vs ISU BBall.
2) since this is a football forum, I will wait for Ratbird or one of the Clown visitors to tell me by which metric ISU has outperformed Iowa in my lifetime (I was born in 63). I'll be around as long as it takes.

Not surprisingly, I didn't get edge u kated on ISU's dominance over the Hawks since 63. Here is what I actually learned about the two teams during those 55 years.
Iowa is 334-291-10 (.5276) ISU is 241-372-12 (.3931)
In fairness, Iowa's record is pretty meh during that time. ISU's is pretty OUCH.

Iowa is 13-15-1 in bowl games during that time.
ISU is 4-9 in bowl games during that time.

Of the 55 seasons, Iowa had a better season than ISU 34 times; ISU had the better season 21 times.

In head to head, Iowa is 26-13.

Did I miss anything that would suggest ISU has been on Iowa's level for the past 55 years?

You need to understand that for clown fans all that counts is 1998 to 2002 just ask ratbird hewill tell you so. Well at least that is all that counts until they win again. Then that single win is all that counts.

It is the little bro syndrome all isu grads are afflicted with. Because god knows there is no such thing as an isu fan that didn’t graduate from isu.

I agree, in basketball the BIG has had more success and more team with FF runs. Funny thing is Iowa has contributed nothing to that, yet you’re still happy about it for some reason.
It means Iowa’s competition to
That right there is actually funny.
What do u dispute...that Iowa City is closer to Chicago and St. Louis than Ames?

Although Iowa State has been a college for a long time, it has only been a university for 60 years. I don't know what that says about anything except that ISU has come a long way in the last half century. The way the administration and academic side views athletics has seen a dramatic change from an adversarial relationship to one of support for the most part.

In the grand scheme of things, an incredible reach by you. We are so irrelevant in a game of musical chairs

You could say the same thing about every university. This isn't anything new. Even with that, ISU football has been awful and still way behind everybody else.

Iowa certainly isn't the target benchmark. The target is much higher than that.

Not according to Campbell.

“Early on, with where we were as a program and where they are/was as a program, I think (are) two different places,” Campbell said. “I think we’re hopefully getting closer to where we want to be and at that point, making it a really competitive year-in and year-out game where you have a chance to win football games in the rivalry — that’s ultimately where we want to be.”

Enlighten us oh wise one.
It is a 2017 article that is regurgitating news from several years ago. I realize how unthinkable it is for hawk fans to see ISU rising up and becoming more popular. Now I suspect you'll switch your narrative focusing how Matt Campbell will be leaving Ames very soon after his next good season. It is good to be a Cyclone!

This article is from 9 months ago. What has changed in 9 months besides nothing?

if it is so good to be a Cyclone, why do you spend one minute here?

To the surprise of no one here, you make no sense.

Instead of going all Nebraska/Minnesota on us about what a threat you will be in the near future, please point out all the inaccuracies of the linked article.

You guys lap up an opinion piece written 9 months ago that projects a possible conference breakup that will be 13-15 years removed from the original instability. There is new leadership at both of the Universities that were considering the move, and they were replaced with B12 advocates. Texas thoroughly evaluated the move and decided the B12 fits them the best. They had an open invitation to the B10 and responded with no f#*kin way. See, the longhorns think B10 fans are rude and beneath them. They had a home and home with Ohio State and their experience in Columbus was one of the worst experiences they had ever encountered. They see Ohio State as the flagship of the B10.

just go away; cyCLOWN fanatic misses you

Typical when you don't like what you read. Btw, the B12 is exploring the possibilities of some type of alliance with the P12 for television rights. How does it feel to be clueless?
we are simply reading and sharing journalists' stories and dealing with the facts.

you can't handle those facts and are clinging to hope. good luck with that.
