The problem with Fran's recruiting is he doesn't get guards that can do both. They can either get to the rim (and not many of them could) and not be good shooters or they were spot up guys with no game off the dribble. Basically no dual threat guards. I agree he needs to ride with those three guards (especially Harding and Dix) to know what he has going forward.Well, we can disagree. I'd say most of those groups have good shooters but are lacking a real pg and a guy who can attack off the dribble.
Definitely some better individual players in some of those years.
I like the upside of Harding Bowen and Dix but none of them have played enough yet to say how good they will be.
I want guards that can create off the dribble and go around defenders rather than relying on outside shooting.
