****Iowa (7-0) @ PU (7-0) Game Thread****

Yeah,

Overall pretty pleased.

Much more pleased with that half than 2nd at Virginia.

If Hawks just make their bunnies and open 3s they might be ahead.

They'll make those most nights.
If Perkins finishes this game with fewer than 12 shots, it will be an absolute travesty. Ride the hot hand Fran

I hope MacC rips CMac a new one for jacking up those 3s. That is the last thing this team needs.
Not able to detect the value Connor provides to this team. I'm 62 years old and with a couple of weeks to warm up I think I could beat Connor in HORSE, well take out the dunks and bring on an audience. He might be the worst shooter playing guard in Iowa history.

Watched the first half. Might skip the second.

Whenever people think about dishonest officiating, think tonight. Purdue is mugging on defense, like they've been doing for since Gene Keady arrived. There have been multiple obvious fouls not called. On the other hand Iowa is called for touch fouls. Love to read the rule that makes it a foul to be elbowed in the head or neck area because you are applying close ball pressure. If that is a real rule then we've got consistency problems with the whole purpose of having those head and neck rules at all.

Where does Purdue get this hideously ugly big men, every year. These Purdue big men, like Eiddy (sp?). Horror movie characters. They're ****ing grotesque.

I think I'd like to piss on Larry Scriotto.
Trying to think of that piss ants name. As soon as I saw him shook my head because he’s awful. Step below Hightower and tv teddy

Doesn't matter at this point. He just shouldn't be shooting 3s. I wish he would drive, anything but jack up 3s.
That's kind of the problem. He has no offensive game whatsoever. He has no dribble drive. He knows that. Everyone knows that including the opposition. He's stuck in no man's land without a guy to throw it to. All that's left is to chuck up a wide open 3.

He has more than that, but definitely not a 3 pt shot.

I love that Fran is throwing in guys who are freshmen and sophomores and they are just going out, playing hard, and not afraid to make mistakes. Looking forward when Ulis, Perkins, Sandfort, and Mulvey are upperclassmen, that team is going to be a ton of fun

He's probably an excellent practice shooter.....

So if a defender is in my halo, I have the right to swing my elbows wildly to clock as hard as I can because he’s in my Halo. Got it

Conner was the best getting the ball to Luka. Much more valuable last year for that reason.

NO, Keegan should have started last year at th "4" and Kris should have gotten backup minutes.
CMAC made difficult entry passes because not one had to guard him at 3pt line so they were playing hte pass. ,

CMAC's man
was doubling Garza.

This is another example of why refs should have to face public criticism for blatant favoritism toward one team. It’s obvious they’ve been told to make sure Purdue gets all the close calls,

Either that or these refs have been bribed. It’s just too obvious to be coincidental.

Frankly, if Iowa is going to be called for ticky tack fouls then make Purdue pay for it.

This is not an outlier in Big Ten officiating. I opine Scriotto is both a hitman and a gambler. He is probably the most dishonest official in all of college basketball. The officiating is indefensible. A lot of the short range shots were missed due to uncalled fouls.
