I feel like Perkins took and made a decent number of threes last year. This year, he can be open by 5 feet and doesn't even pull the trigger. It really hurts his offensive game when defenders know he's only going to dribble/drive.
Edit: His stats say otherwise so I guess it's just me perception.

He had decent position that step through move just made the contact look bad. Solid on trying to force the refs to do something but it wasn’t much
Dimbele/Krikke....agreed they aren't as good but you get Freeman in foul trouble and he'll only end up playing 25 minutes.

Iowa really playing a pretty solid game all the way around so far...
He looks much more comfortable and effective at the 5 IMO

I believe this. It’s not just something said to show support or defend someone like I felt with Brian Ferentz.
They love the program. Haven't you noticed the number of legacy players we've had. .
Agreed, he had that bad habit of hanging out at the perimeter too much earlier in this season
