Nebraska (16-7, 7-5) has now lost two straight and 4 of last 10.

Iowa (16-7, 6-6) has win 4 straight and playing its best basketball lately.

Big game for both clubs trying to build a tournament resume.

I think the hawks up just short, 76-68

I think the away venue is the big hurdle for the game. Play defense and rebound like they did in Minnesota, and things should work out. They can turn the narrative on the season with a win tonight.

Recent trends, Iowa playing better, Nebraska not so much, Also IIRC Iowa was up 9 in the 4th qtr in the previous matchup and then had a major meltdown at the FT line, Obviously anything can happen but I do think many of the matchups in the game favor Iowa.
I like our chances a lot for the reasons you mention + the revenge factor. The girls let that one slip away and I suspect they want pay back!

Also, I think the staff has figured out the correct player rotations.

Ugh, playing a PO'd team at home makes it even more difficult IMO

I like our chances too. Always prefer to be playing with the confidence of recent success, rather than the giant question mark created by a loosing streak. Vegas says were the favorite so GO HAWKS!

Nebraska lost its last game, at home, to Michigan by 18 points. Apparently it's possible to win in Lincoln, so I'll take the Hawkeyes in this one.

I'd much prefer the USC version. The Minnesota game was nearly lost the same way as the previous bad losses. Just made a few big shots when it counted. Definitely need McCabe and Guyton contributing points on the stat sheet.

We almost made a big mistake last game by slowing the pace of the game down to a very slow half court game. That was one thing we were doing during our long losing streak. The coaches need to make sure we continue to push the ball. We have a lot of players that are used to playing that way and it helps create easier baskets. If you settle for the slow half court game you usually have to get by five defenders to get an easy basket and you have to rely on jump shots. As with the mens team we all know it is very hard to win a 40 minute game by consistently shooting lower percentage jump shots.

11-2 Hawks!
