we all know Fran needed a big from the transfer portal
he needed a shooting guard as well
If JoshO and mulvey were to play most of minutes at center, then rebraca would move to PF and Murray would play the 3. The two guys that would lose the most minutes playing a true big are CMAC and PMAC. So no way it would happen because Fran manages the team to maximize McCaffery family minutes.

Iowa is going to have to up their NIL game in basketball and get some better athletes and shooters. As good of an offensive coach as Fran is there isn’t much he can do with such a serious lack of talent.
No reason for Josh to not get 5 minutes every game and if he plays well he gets more. He actually looked good against tcu. Can’t understand why you can play against tcu but not a bad team.
I like Rebraca but he's a forward playing the center position and he doesn't have a consistent shot past 3 feet so playing forward is not an option. We're going to lose this game anyway, put Riley out there to play a 1 man zone in the middle, how is that not worth the try? As Fran stands on the sideline with his hands in his pockets playing with himself.
I would agree. Josh O didn't make the trip today. Knee issue. Would be nice to see him play a bit when he heals up.
And now we can't hit our FTs. Maybe if the kids cut back on the podcasting and dreaming about the NBA they wouldn't have regressed so hard.
It is amazing how much traveling goes uncalled on the perimeter just catching the ball.
OK. New offense. Iowa brings the ball down. Throws it off the defense. Then runs an out of bounds play for an easy hoop. Rinse ... Repeat!
