PMac with the airball. He should be getting 0 minutes at this point.
Showing some gaps in his game (toughness/physicality and consistency as examples) that sure seems like another year in college next year could help him develop. I’m far from an nba scout… but would love for someone to tell me I’m wrong?
Fran did nothing to prep them after the NW debacle. He isn’t a good coach. Nice guy. But he isn’t a good game coach
Dix attempts to play defense, not something Fran cares about.
I think the threshold for a win is CMAC with 13 assists to 0 turnovers. Anything less is a potential loss.
I feel really bad for PM, he’s gone through a lot between cancer and anxiety it sucks. I put it 100% on his dad for putting him

I can’t figure out why Patrick gets minutes..outside of being a coaches son of course.
So much you can pick apart but the bottom line is if you can’t shoot you can’t win.
This roster has no athleticism. Our guards and wings can't beat anyone off the dribble, and it's a huge problem. Without a guy like Garza in the paint, teams can play us straight up and no help is ever required. To top it off, they don't have to guard half of our players at the 3 point line because we can't shoot.
In short....WE SUCK!
This team is mentally weak. They don’t know what it takes to get out of a slump. They lose to one of the worst WI teams I’ve ever seen. This was a game they should have won.
Stop jawing w the refs. Fix this team. Guide these young men.

Yeah...the message is I'm a effing stubborn coach, once I get a starting lineup and rotation it is unlikely to change and his two boys are always going to get preferential treatment.

Filip had a good game but Fran had to take him out with his 4th foul in a 6 point game with 4+ minutes left. Never to come back in.
I try to remain upbeat most all of the time. I understand there are ups and downs to a season, and I understand these are kids.
But if I am being honest with myself, I have to agree with this take. I will still watch and root for them because I am sure it matters to the players, but this team is soft, and whether they play in March Madness or NIT, not really sure it matters.
I will be surprised if Iowa wins on Saturday. Even at Carver.

Went from fighting for a double bye to playing the 1st game.
Probably will get matched up with Nebraska, who is hot.

Maybe, but if I am NBA GM and seeing Keegan...I would at least draft Kris in 2nd round and stick him in G-league and he can toughen up while getting paid vs trying to carry Fran another year.

Yeah, they were just playing for a 2nd place tie a few days ago, now they're in danger of playing on Wednesday in the BTT.

That little Japanese guard will probably go off on Iowa since Fran's teams have tendency to leaving shooters open.
