Spencer Lee did it at Iowa State about 3 years ago. Was awarded the danger for 2 as a takedown and then kept the guy there for another 4 count which ended the match because it was tech fall for Lee at that point.

No, I don't believe so. If I remember correctly, he was committed to PSU, and then there was smoke around him visiting Iowa City. Cael caught wind and I don't believe the visit ever happened.
Because for the last 5 meetings with DeSanto he has stalled his butt off every one except last night, and the refs swallowed their whistles. He did against Fix last year too, but that was justice. Fix is a cheater, RBY a staller when wrestling someone good.
This part is not in answer to you, coach. I just don't get all the worship of O'Toole. He's good, but not Spencer or Gable good. Not Yanni good either. He will lose in the next three years. Kennedy might even figure him out, although not for a while.

Spencer is the only big name recruit that both teams were equally all in on that we have ever gotten from them. I know they had interest in Arnold and Jesuroga but I don't know if they were as all in as with Spencer.

45-5 in semifinals since 2011. Another poster pointed out that their finals record is probably similar.
They have won their last 10 finals matches and 21/23 of their last finals matches I think .
