I get the momentum aspect, but besides outside possibility of another safety, no reason to not go for 2 right?
Take the easy 1 vs extra pressure on the Oline / QB for a measly extra point? Keep scoring and it doesn't matter IMO. Seems a bit risky this early.

He wasn't whining, he was pointing out the lack of clarity in perhaps the worst call in a football game ever.
Any actual football fan upon reflection understands that game doesn't come down to that play if we have anything approaching a competent offense. This goes to my earlier comment about people thinking we are outside looking in. Iowa fans know what our program is, and take joy from it when it's offered to us.
That no-call didn't make up for the gift TD roughing the passer call earlier.
